Hawkstar123, you have been good to me. I grew up on the internet with you. You were one of my first ever accounts on any site. But I need a fresh start, a clean slate if you will. However, I will never forget you, the art I produced for you, or how I improved so much since starting you.

So, I've been pondering on it for a while and I've finally decided that I'm going to move accounts. I won't close this one, I have many fond memories on it. Plus I'm not going to move ALL of my art, and I'd like to still be able to come back and view it from time to time, you know?
As for why I've decide to move, it's a combination of things. I'm tired of this username for one. I'm 18 now, I feel like I should have a bit more of a grown up username. Actually, I almost moved once before because of the name. And it's not just the "Hawkstar" bit, I still use that as a nick/username, it's more to do with the numbers at the end.
Reason number two is I have had this account since I was 14. I feel like I want a fresh start. So a new account it is.

The move won't be immediate, I'm still sorting things out on the other account, but it'll likely happen within the next day or so. Though it could also happen tonight, I'm not fully sure on the time, haha.

For those who want to follow me over to my new account, the username is adamant-wit. I'll be uploading the art I want to move with me over there tonight, and then I'll probably be working on a new ID and icon.

I hope some of you continue to watch me after the move, but to those who don't, I thank you for watching me here.

That's my way of informing you that my eighteenth birthday is tomorrow.

And I am freaked out. I mean, of course I'm excited. Who isn't when they finally become an adult? But it's also become an increasingly scary thought as I've pondered on it more these past few months. It's a scary thought, being an adult, when I've been a kid all my life. Exciting, but scary.
However, I'm trying to ignore the scary part for now and just think about the good things like looking forward to seeing my dad tomorrow, though I've no idea what we're going to do, and going to my party on Saturday... It should be pretty awesome.

Also, being a Potterhead, I have Pottermore to look forward to on Sunday.

This is seriously like, the best weekend ever for me, haha.

Sorry for not updating more. Art block is a bitch.

Pirates. Yup. But I'll explain that in a moment. Before I do,  just want to say hi! It's been a long time huh? Yup. I've been.... Sorta busy what with the school year ending, plus I just haven't had any inspiration or anything, so very little to no drawing has been going on.

Now I explain! You've probably heard that the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean came out... what, two weeks ago? Something like that. And you may know that I love that series of movies. Yes, even 2 and 3. So I was pretty psyched. I went to see it the day after it came out (and I enjoyed it, I don't care what any of you haters think), and I've been sort of in a pirates funk since then. Yep. A pirates funk. It's a real thing, you know.
Since seeing 4, I have watched 3 twice, once by myself and once with my dad and bro, and then we (my dad, brother, and I) went to go see four again. Aaaand just tonight, I watched the first one with my mom and bro. I made my mom watch it because she'd only tried once before, but fell asleep before it was halfway through. This time, she managed to stay awake and even said it wasn't bad. I hope that when we watch the second one, she'll decide that she loved them. However, I won't get my hopes up.
So yeah, I've uh... been in a pirates funk. And thus been tempted to do some fanart. What do you think? Yay or nay? Should I or should I not? If you say yes, which characters should I draw? _{If I even can draw, that is.}

Other than that... not much of interest has been going on. Not that my pirates funk is super interesting. I just wanted to talk to you guys, and get some suggestions.
